Andy Bargery

Andy’s 20 years in marketing started at Compaq where he joined as a marketing assistant to the BT sales account team. He went on to work for Walkers Crisps before moving into the agency world, where he has worked for some of the smallest and largest communications agencies in the World.

Andy’s experience spans multiple industries, but primarily he has worked in the technology, property and travel sectors. Some career highlights include delivering a million-pound sales pipeline for Oracle’s technology marketing team, managing the social media channels for lastminute.com as part of a crisis response team, and providing an influencer engagement campaign for Shell and its renewable energy program. Andy is also proud to have established London’s leading blogger community and, separately, a podcast and event community for digital marketers called Techmap.

Andy has a passion for providing innovative marketing solutions and delivering a great customer experience for his clients. In 2011, he set up an agency called Klaxon. The agency created collaborative teams of experienced marketers to solve its clients’ marketing and communications challenges, whether in digital marketing, strategy, communications, events or lead generation. At Klaxon, Andy’s clients have included Google, Vodafone, Xerox and a vast array of smaller companies and start-ups.

After successfully running Klaxon for eight years, Andy began providing training for marketers and set up a community for marketing agency owners called Agency Squared. Andy is also a Co-Founder and the Marketing Director for a start-up aparthotel brand called Butler & Noble.

Andy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, has achieved the Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree.
