About

A bit about me

I am a Course Coordinator within the Customer Service team and have been part of Professional Academy for two years. My role involves onboarding learners, planning workshops, processing exam results and providing day-to-day support for queries and requests from learners and the team at Professional Academy.I enjoy combining organisation and communication to help create a smooth learning experience. Keeping records accurate and up to date allows me to provide timely, reliable support, while regular contact with learners helps me understand their needs and guide them through their studies. What good support looks like

Good support means being approachable, responsive, and reliable. I believe learners should feel confident that their questions will be answered promptly and professionally, and that they have someone they can turn to when they need guidance. Clear communication and attention to detail help create a positive learning experience and allow learners to focus on achieving their goals.

Outside of work

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the beach searching for sea glass to add to my collection. I also love growing flowers, herbs, and vegetables from seed, which teaches me plenty about patience and planning.

What I make easier

I try to make the administrative side of learning as simple and stress-free as possible. Whether a learner has a question about their course, needs help finding information, or is unsure about the next step in their journey, I aim to provide clear guidance and straightforward answers so they can focus on their learning.

Behind the scenes

A lot of my work happens behind the scenes through maintaining accurate learner data, processing exam results, coordinating workshops and ensuring records are kept up to date. These tasks may not always be visible, but they play an important role in helping learners receive timely support and ensuring the wider team can work effectively.

How I keep things moving

I am often one of the first points of contact for learners, whether by phone or email. By keeping records accurate, responding to queries promptly, and coordinating key activities such as workshops and exam administration, I help ensure learners receive the right information at the right time. I also work closely with colleagues across the organisation to keep processes running smoothly and efficiently.
