Marketing Apprenticeships

Professional Academy's marketing apprenticeships are designed for individuals working in or moving into marketing roles, providing a structured pathway that combines practical skills with nationally recognised qualifications. Three levels are available:

  • Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer — suitable for those beginning their marketing career, covering the core skills needed to plan and execute marketing activity across multiple channels
  • Level 4 Marketing Executive — for those developing greater responsibility within a marketing team, covering campaign management, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement
  • Level 6 Marketing Manager — for experienced marketers moving into management, covering strategic planning, leadership, and commercial decision-making

Sales Apprenticeships

Professional Academy's sales apprenticeships are designed to develop the skills, techniques, and professional behaviours that drive consistent sales performance. These programmes are suitable for individuals beginning a career in sales or looking to develop their existing skills within a structured framework.

Business Administration Apprenticeships

The Business Administration apprenticeship provides a broad and practical foundation in the operational and administrative skills that underpin effective business performance. It is suitable for individuals working in support, coordination, or administration roles across a wide range of sectors and organisational types.

Why Choose an Apprenticeship

Apprenticeships offer a highly effective route to professional development — for both employers and individuals. For employers, apprenticeships provide a structured way to develop existing team members, attract new talent, and build capability in areas that are strategically important to the business. For individuals, they offer the opportunity to earn while learning, gaining nationally recognised qualifications alongside real workplace experience.

Apprenticeships are funded through the apprenticeship levy for eligible employers, making them a cost-effective route to workforce development. Non-levy paying employers can also access government co-investment funding to support apprenticeship training costs. Further information on apprenticeship funding is available from the government's apprenticeship funding guidance.

Who Apprenticeships Are For

A common misconception is that apprenticeships are only for school leavers or those entering the workforce for the first time. In fact, apprenticeships are available to individuals of all ages and at a wide range of career stages — including experienced professionals looking to formalise their skills, change direction, or progress into more senior roles.

Employers can use apprenticeships to upskill existing employees as well as to bring in new talent. This flexibility makes them a valuable tool for workforce planning across organisations of all sizes — from small businesses to large national employers.
