ISMM Study process and example schedule
For all ISMM qualifications, you will follow the same basic process as below. The example schedule below explains the usual order in which your studies take place with example dates based on submitting your final assignment as soon as possible for either the Spring or Autumn submissions.
When studying for a qualification you must be aware of all the important dates such as workshops and assessment submissions. For the specific dates for your qualification, visit the ISMM Important dates page. You may also find many of the answers to your questions in the FAQ section.

1. We receive your completed application form and enrol you onto your chosen qualification.
|
10th May 2010
|
|
2. We send you an email confirmation which contains your online members area log-in details and ISMM student registration form for you to complete and send back.
|
12th May
|
|
3. You log into your online members area to check your details,workshop bookings and access additional resources and study material.
|
13th May
|
|
4. We organise your ISMM student registration and email your ISMM details to you.
|
15th May
|
|
5. Your study material is delivered to you within 10 working days from enrolment.
|
20th May
|
|
6. You begin reading the course material starting with the Study Handbook and Assignment Guide.
For Level 2 you begin with 'Selling in a Customer-Focused Organisation'

22nd May
|
|
7. You attend your first workshop (Level 3, 5 & 6 only)
|
17th June
|
|
8. You request the IMA (Internally Marked Assignment) from Cambridge Professional Academy.
For Level 3, 5 & 6 this must be within 2 weeks of attending the workshop.

30th June
|
|
9. You submit your completed assignment to Cambridge Professional Academy (both hard and electronic copy) within 28 days of requesting it.

27th July
|
|
10. You receive preliminary marks from Cambridge Professional Academy within 2 weeks of submitting your assignment by email.
|
9th August
|
|
11. You begin reading for the next module and continue studying as steps 7 – 10 (excluding Level 2).
|
2nd August
|
|
12. You request the final module assignment, the Investigative Project / EMA (Externally Marked Assignment) from Cambridge Professional Academy.
|
31st January 2011
|
|
13. The EMA is sent out to you by Cambridge Professional Academy.
|
15th April
|
|
14. You submit your completed Investigative Project / EMA to Cambridge Professional Academy (both hard and electronic copy)
For Level 2 & 3 within 28 days of requesting it.
For Level 5 & 6 within 42 days of requesting it.

15. Final results are emailed/sent out by Cambridge Professional Academy.
|
2nd July
|
|
16. Cambridge Professional Academy will post your certificate to you within 4-6 weeks of your final result confirmation.
