CMI Study process and example schedule

For all CMI qualifications, you will follow the same basic process as below, the example schedule explains the usual order in which your studies take place based on the quarterley submission dates of March, June, September or December.  The duration of your studyies will vary depending on which level you are studying.

When studying for a qualification you must be aware of all the important dates such as workshops and assessment submission.  For the specific dates for your qualification, visit the CMI Important dates page.  You may also find many of the answers to your questions in the FAQ section.

 

Process

1. We receive your completed application form and enrol you onto your chosen qualification. 10th May 2010
2.  We send you an email confirmation which contains your online members area log-in details and the CMI membership form for you to complete and send back. 12th May
3. You log into your online members area to check your details, workshop bookings and access additional resources and study material. 13th May
4.  We organise your CMI membership and email your membership details to you. 15th May
5. Your study material is delivered to you within 10 working days from enrolment. 26th May

6. You begin reading the course material starting with the Study Handbook and Assignment Guide and the Unit 1 - Personal Development.

27th May
7. You submit your completed assignment to Cambridge Professional Academy (both hard and electronic copy) by the deadline.

18th June
8. You begin reading and studying for the next unit with the help of your Support Tutor. 19th June

9. Your assignment is marked by Cambridge Professional Academy.  It is then verified by the CMI External Verifier at the next marking session.

Once marked by the CMI we confirm your result by email.

 
10. You attend your workshop 21st June
11. You submit your completed assignment to Cambridge Professional Academy (both hard and electronic copy) before attending the next workshop. 20th August

12. You begin reading for the next unit and continue studying as steps 8 – 11.

21st August

13. You submit your final assignment to Cambridge Professional Academy (both hard and electronic copy).

25th June 2011

14. Your assignment is marked by Cambridge Professional Academy.  It is then verified by the CMI External Verifier at the next marking session.

Once marked by the CMI we confirm your result by email.

 

15. Cambridge Professional Academy will post your certificate to you within 4 – 6 weeks of your final result confirmation.
