Foundation Diploma in Purchasing and Supply - Level 4
This qualification provides an ideal introduction to purchasing and supply, its purpose and importance as an effective business function.
It has been designed for those who already have previous business experience and are considering entering into purchasing and supply as a career or are new to the role.
Entry Criteria
To be eligible for this qualification you should have at least one of the following:
- at least two A-levels (or international equivalent)

- a relevant Level 3 qualification
|
- a minimum of two years’ experience in a business environment
|
What will you study?
- Effective negotiation in purchasing and supply
|
- Developing contracts in purchasing and supply
|
- Measuring purchasing performance
|
- Managing purchasing and supply relationships
|

|
All the units are assessed by a three-hour closed book examination.

The Foundation Diploma in Purchasing and Supply - is available as part of the Complete Learning Package or the Tailored Learning Package.
How long will it take?
You can begin your studies at any time during the year and so the five units, studied with our three-day workshop and guided home study will typically take between 15 - 18 months to complete, although you can study at a faster or slower pace to suit your requirements.
