Member services and records

Members should ensure that the details they provide us with are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that are provided when registering. These can accessed and updated within the Your (your name) Area part of the website.

Members (Students, Sponsors, Tutors and Affiliates) have the ability to amend personal records relating to information that we have collected or that they have provided to Cambridge Professional Academy. When providing or amending these records members must remain civil and tasteful. No offensive, abusive, unlawful, harassing, defamatory, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable information is allowed to be submitted as part of these records that we store. Cambridge Professional Academy reserves the right to delete or edit any record where we believe information fails to comply with this rule. Failure to conform with this rule may result in action being taken against the members account with Cambridge Professional Academy.

Members should remember that they are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality their username and password and for restricting access to their computer to prevent unauthorised access to their account. Members agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur whilst using their username or password. Members should notify us immediately if they have reason to believe that their password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner.

Cambridge Professional Academy reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content.

Message Board

No anonymous posting of messages is possible and as such all messages are traceable back to a member.

You agree to use the Message Boards provided by Cambridge Professional Academy in accordance with the following rules. Failure do to so will see the result in the offending Member being blocked from accessing the Message board.

No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour:

Contributions must be constructive, relevant and polite, no contributions meant with the intention of causing trouble will be tolerated.

No unlawful or objectionable content:

Unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.

No spamming or off-topic material:

We don’t allow the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times. Please don't re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute off-topic material in subject-specific areas.

No advertising

Advertising or providing text hyperlinks to external sites for the promotion or advertising of any products or services is not acceptable.

Changes

Cambridge Professional Academy reserves the right to change these terms at any time by posting changes online. The date that this document is created or last amended can be found at the top of this document. You are advised to review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of the latest terms of use of the website as well as any changes made by the Cambridge Professional Academy.
