National Occupational Standards (NOS)
We apply National Occupational Standards (NOS) for management and leadership. What does this mean?
- They are benchmarks of best practice
- The training programme will be designed in-line with the Government's NOS for Management and Leadership. These specify the standards of performance that people are expected to achieve in their work, and the knowledge and skills they need to perform effectively.
- They have been agreed by employers and employee representatives and approved by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
This means you know your staff are fully up-to-date and acquiring relevant skills.
